Keyboard Inspection

Keyboard inspection system is an apparatus for the quality control inspection of a computer keyboard consisting of an array of elements (keys) each having at least one identifying graphic pattern. A video camera views the array of elements and verifies that each location on a keyboard contains the correct, properly oriented key. Character recognition algorithm has been developed for each individual character on the keyboard. The system also stores a large database of different kinds of keyboards used.
